Chevron

Chevron patterned floors appeared in the 17th century in France. This technique was seen as a sign of exceptional luxury and wealth. Chevron  floors were laid in palaces and the homes of nobility. The main difference between Chevron and Herringbone patterned floors is called zigzag angle, which means that Herringbone has 90-degree angle and Chevron has 45-degree angle.
